LCVC 2011 COTILLION-BEAUTILLION

BIO and AD SALES REQUIREMENTS AND DEADLINES

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

◊       Each participant must complete and submit a Bio for the Souvenir Journal. The Bio should be at least 250 and no more than 500 words.  In addition to the Deb/Beau’s name, parent names, high school & religious affiliation, other areas that you may consider including are: academic, special interests, extra-curriculum activities, and religious & organizational accomplishments/involvements; awards, and future aspirations.

 

◊       Each participant must sell at least fifteen hundred dollars ($1500.00) in advertisements for the Souvenir Journal.

 

 

DEADLINES and REMINDERS:

 

◊      Biographical profiles are due by August 28, 2011.

 

◊      The cut-off date for acceptance of ads and money is October 1, 2011.

 

◊      Full page, half page, quarter page (1/4 page), business card size (1/8 page) advertisements and patron listings will be sold.

 

◊      A record of all submissions should be maintained on the enclosed Ad Tally Sheet.  You should also keep copies of all your ad submissions for back-up and your reference.

 

◊      Except for patron listings, you are required to submit ad money and corresponding “copy ready” advertisements on a monthly basis to avoid the last minute rush.  This will allow members of the ad committee sufficient time to layout the Souvenir Journal. 

 

◊      Ads must be submitted via Jack and Jill website.  You will have to upload the picture and supporting content for each ad.  

 

◊      The participants with the top three (3) ad sales totals as of October 1, 2011 will receive an award totaling 20% of the amount of ads they sold (for example, if

      you sell $6,000 in ads, you will receive a $1,200 incentive award!).  The names will be announced the night of the Cotillion-Beautillion and award check mailed to award recipients by December 31, 2011.      

 Note: The total awards may be capped at an $8000 payout level at the discretion of LCVC.

At participant activities, Bios, Ads, Talley Sheets and Money will be collected by Souvenir Journal Committee Point of Contact.  You can also mail information to Gwen Holoman.
